This breed to be amazingly sociable and curious and very docile - great for families with children. About half the birds will allow you to pet them and pick them up, and the more cautious females can still be easily handled when they are sitting on a nesting box. I've never had any episodes of male aggression or defiance towards humans, and they are happy to loiter around just out of arms reach, endlessly displaying for you and your guests.

These Royal palms have been allowed to free range their whole lives with other chickens and ducks. We let them free range with our chickens because Hawks are less apt to grab chickens with these turkeys around.

Live birds can only be shipped using USPS Priority Express which reaches most local post offices overnight. Your birds must be picked up from the local Post Office as quickly as possible to ensure your new babies are safe. Shipping is additional and generally ranges from $25 to $75 depending on where you live and how many chicks you order. We're currently only shipping within the continental United States.

Our Live Chick Guarantee only applies if you order 6 or more chicks. This is because we believe that 6 chicks is the ideal number of bodies to keep the little guys safe. (Enough fluff for padding and enough bodies for heat).
